Experience the contrasting charms of Phuket with a visit to its Old Town where you can find colourful painted century-old colonial houses. Since it is not as popular as the beaches and islands around Phuket, couples can really spend some quality time together with less disturbance. Just roam around freely at the town, you may find some unexpected surprises like the unique street arts painted around the town.

Phuket is famed for its pristine beaches, and the first thing a couple should never miss is to walk along a stretch of beaches. Just take off your shoes and walk, feel the sun-bleached sand burning the feet slightly, and mesmerise in the awe-inspiring views of the coastline.

10. Share a Relaxing Couple Spa

After a long day of outdoor activities, a luxury couple spa is a good choice to get you and your partner rejuvenated. Most of the 4 or 5-star hotels in Phuket offer professional spa treatment for couples, including traditional Thai massage, foot massage, fish spa, aromatherapy, and a shared milk bath.

11. Marvel at the White Big Buddha Phuket

Sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills, this 45 metres tall giant Buddha can be seen far away even from the Phuket Town and Karon. This famous landmark offers visitors the most glorious panoramic views of the Phuket island, romantically overlooking the Phuket Town, Patong, Karon, Kata, Chalong Bay and more. If you like, you can get up early to catch a sunrise here with your dearest.

Cooking together is a lovely and fun thing to do together with your loved one. It will be a nice experience to learn the art of Thai cooking from A to Z, from picking up the ingredients at the local market to cooking authentic Thai dishes yourself under the guidance of a professional chef. Finally, you will get to devour the food you prepare with great fulfilment. These are some of the most popular cooking academies in Phuket: Phuket Thai Cooking by VJ, Kata Thai Cooking, Blue Elephant and Pum Thai.

13. Go Scuba Diving or Snorkelling

With clear blue waters and lush marine life, Phuket is often regarded as one of the best diving destinations in the world. If scuba diving is too extreme, you and your significant one can opt for snorkelling instead, which do not require a diving license. November to April is the best time for scuba diving or snorkelling as the visibility of the water is at its clearest during this period.

14. Party All Night at Bangla Road

Loaded with bars, clubs and cabaret shows, Bangla Road is the most happening place in Phuket where you can experience the vibrance nightlife of the “Thailand’s Sin City”. 17. Take in the Amazing Views at the Black Rock Viewpoint

The Black Rock Viewpoint is the best viewpoint in Phuket with less crowds, overlooking Nai Harn beach, Ao Sane and the Andaman Sea. It is an off-road viewpoint that you can only reach by doing a bit of hiking, which is more like a 15 minutes walk from the “Pa Hin Dum” rock. You may want to stay longer until evening to watch the fantastic sunset from here.

Black Rock Viewpoint
Address: Soi Laem Mum Nok, Karon, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83100, Thailand. (Google Maps)

18. Pray for an Eternity Love at Wat Chalong

Wat Chalong is the largest and the most revered temple in Phuket. Besides structurally beautiful, the temple also has an eventful past of fighting against Chinese rebellions in 1876. Moreover, this sacred temple is also said to keep a fragment of a bone of the Buddha in its pagoda. It is a good start to learn about a bit about Buddhism in Phuket. Before leaving, you may want to do a prayer for your relationship, and hopefully it is heard and granted (*fingers crossed)!

hello thailand✨สวัสดีประเทศไทย🇹🇭 a few days ago i arrived here on the beautiful tropical island of phuket, and i am so incredibly grateful and excited to be exploring this country for the first time🌿 it’s a place that i have always desired to visit, and the first vlog of a day of adventure is now live on my YouTube channel😀🌸🌈 it feels surreal that this is also now my 10th country❤️i’m really interested to know, how many countries have you visited? . a little reminder for you today is that living a life that you love doesn’t mean everything is “perfect” (there’s no such thing), to me it simply means that you prioritise what is most important, because where your attention goes, energy flows, and that is what grows🌿 what matters most to you? how do you want to spend your precious days? when do you feel most fulfilled? i consciously ask myself these questions frequently to come in alignment with my soul, to give my energy to what i want to manifest, and it also allows me to create a vision to head towards🌈 you are here to shine, to live your own ‘best life’, and by prioritising what is important to you without comparing to anyone else, you can live a life that you love. just take a deep breath and realise that even this present moment is enough, you are okay and when you fall in love with and seek appreciation in the Now, life works for you❤️💕

19. Spot Planes Fly Low Over You at Mai Khao Beach

Watching the planes fly low over you is definitely one of the coolest and most romantic things to see in Phuket! However, the planes only land directly on the beach during the high season (around December to April). Then when the low season arrives (around May to November), you can see planes taking off over the beach instead, but it will be less impressive.
