The interior design of this restaurant is to die for. From the moment you step in, you see a beautiful entrance garden. The ambience is extraordinary – vintage wooden furniture, warm yellow lighting, vibrant wallpaper, rustic decorations.
The old house-turned-lifestyle shop is not just a restaurant, it also offers a gift corner, fashion shop, nail service, foot massage and workshops throughout the week. You can shop with your girls while you enjoy your afternoon tea! How great is that?
You will be surprised on how they managed to have a pool in the middle of the restaurant!
Not to mention, if you’re there for afternoon tea, the cakes are delicious and it comes with different flavours for you to choose from.

2. Café Claire – Oriental Residence Bangkok
Besides the unique presentation of their afternoon teas, their great service is one of the highlights in their café. Their newest afternoon tea is the Ferris Wheel afternoon tea – features traditional English desserts, savoury dessert and choice of your premium TWG tea. It is dreamy and put together with the design of the café, it is aesthetic. The Ferris Wheel afternoon tea is served daily from 2.30pm to 5pm at 1,230++ Baht per set (2 pax).

3. 1823 Tea Lounge by Ronnefeldt
1823 Tea Lounge by Ronnefeldt has a classy interior design with the theme of gold. Taking photos in the lounge will definitely reward you with amazing pictures!
They offer 1823 Gold Indulgence High Tea Set which is only available from 12 noon to 6pm. It includes savoury and sweet items, in total 9 items. You can also choose your own pot from their extensive tea collection.
Many customers couldn’t stop praising their tea especially the ‘Gaysorn Blend’ even for tea fanatics who has high standard towards tea. They also offer various meals, cakes and pastries. It’s a must to try their tea set with all the good reviews going around!

4. TWG Tea Salon & Boutique Thailand
There are a few tea sets for you to choose from. TWG Tea is not only available in Thailand but in a few countries as well. The tea salon & boutique are usually located in a mall and the location makes it perfect for you to take a rest and recharge before continue with shopping. The afternoon tea sets are only available from 12pm to 6pm with a starting price of 410 Baht.

5. Authors’ Lounge at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok
The Authors’ Lounge is one of the most photographed locations in Bangkok. The lounge has a glass roof, turn-of-the-century style wicker furniture and hand-painted fabrics to provide the perfect accompaniment to framed photographs of many famous writers who have stayed at the hotel since late nineteenth century.
The afternoon tea is only served from 12pm to 6pm, last order at 5.30pm. The price starts from 1,500 Baht per person with a selection of coffee or tea. Choices varies from western to oriental to vegan and gluten-free afternoon tea set. I personally like the idea of them being so thoughtful and make the choice available for vegan and gluten-free customers.
Do note that customers are required to obey the smart dress code to dine in the lounge.
Even Park Yoo Ra, an ex-anchor and a sister of EXO’s Chanyeol, has been to the Authors’ Lounge for an afternoon tea. Look at how pretty the photos turn out with minimum effort thanks to the interior design of the lounge.

6. Lakorn European Brasserie
Lakorn European Brasserie is located in Rosewood Bangkok Hotel and the design of the brasserie is a mix of Western and Eastern Culture.
The brasserie offers signature degustation afternoon tea of 5 courses – gin afternoon tea (infused with gin of the week) costs 1,290 Baht per person and champagne afternoon tea (billecart salmon brut) costs 1,490 per person. Besides, a gluten-free option is available upon pre-booking, be sure to contact them if you’re opting for one!

7. The St. Regis Bar & The Lounge
The view is magnificent from The St. Regis Bar & The Lounge, you get to overlook the golf course’s verdant view while enjoying sweet and savoury bites of afternoon tea with TWG tea or coffee.
Located in the luxurious St. Regis Bangkok Hotel, afternoon tea is offered in The St. Regis Bar & The Lounge. They currently offer “New Tanqueray No. TEN Afternoon Tea” inspired by Tanqueray No. TEN first launch in Thailand. The afternoon tea set costs 1,600 Baht per set for two persons, including tea or coffee. It will only be available till 16 May 2020.

Shangri-La Hotel is already renowned for their 5-star hotel – services, room and so on. The afternoon tea will not disappoint just like how Shangri-La never disappoint us! Recently, they newly launched an afternoon tea set – ‘Traditional Afternoon Tea’, where you can enjoy it at the Lobby Lounge.

9. Up & Above Bar @ The Okura Prestige Bangkok
Up & Above Bar offer seasonal afternoon tea and if you’re reading this post now, you’re in luck! The ongoing afternoon tea set is ‘The Tsubaki Afternoon Tea’, it gives a vibe as if you’re in Japan and it is perfect with the scenery from the bar.
The Tsubaki Afternoon tea is priced at 1,400++ Baht per set for two persons, inclusive of coffee or tea. Launch of this afternoon tea set is to celebrate the blossoming of camellia flower in Japan, the bites include traditional Kyoho scones, Tsubaki macarons, cherry mignardise, almond biscuits with Yuzu clafoutis and many more! Have you ever tasted the pink freshness of the Sakura cherry blossom? You can now taste it at Curve 55 located in Hotel Nikko Bangkok! This afternoon tea set is launched in conjunction with spring season.
It is called the ‘Sakura Spring Afternoon Tea for Two’. From Sakura Mont Blanc to Spicy King Crab Roll and much more it’s the most elevating afternoon tea experience just for you. This tea set is only served until May 2020. It is priced at 1,090++ Baht with tea or coffee and 1,290++ Baht with a sparkling drink (no tea or coffee).

11. Intercontinental Bangkok – Balcony Lounge
Intercontinental Bangkok now serves the Mandarin Orange Afternoon Tea which will only be available until 31 March 2020. You will get to relax in the sophisticated ambience while you enjoy the elegant tray of sweet and savoury treats incorporated with mandarin oranges. You can expect cheesecakes, scones, almond tarts, smoked chicken sandwiches, carbonara quiche and many more!
Afternoon tea is only served from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Price is 550++ Baht per person and 850++ Baht for two persons.

12. Peacock Alley @ Waldorf Astoria Bangkok
Peacock Alley interior design is modern that shows elegant but at the same time there is a hint of Thai culture to preserve their culture. The afternoon tea is just as good as their thoughts put in to design the place
Peacock Alley’s afternoon tea includes a selection of fingers sandwiches, freshly baked scones and loose leaf teas accompanied by mouth-watering pastries. It is priced at 2,200 Baht for two persons. If you would like to upgrade to Billecart – Salmon Champagne Afternoon Tea, it is priced at 4,000 Baht for two persons.

13. Lobby Salon @ The Sukhothai Bangkok
For this part, I’m going to recommend you to two options. First, would be the tea set called The Sukhothai Tea Set worth 880++ Baht inclusive of savoury bites, mini pastries and scones.Tea set is only available on Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 5pm.
Moving on, I will recommend the Chocolate Buffet. It is a must go for chocolate lovers as there is different types of chocolates used, from the bitterest of all to white chocolate. The buffet is prepared using various types of chocolate in a variety of delicious ways, which will leave you wanting for me. It is also recommended to start with the savouries. Chocolate Buffet is available Friday to Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. If I were you, I would not want to miss this buffet when I’m in Bangkok.

14. Organika Café
There are a few other locations – Baan Silom and Icon Sia. The ambience of the café is cosy and comfortable, it looks expensive but in reality, the price are so much cheaper! They offer an all-day high tea 1,250 Baht for two people and 1,700 Bath for 3 person.

15. The House on Sathorn
I’m saving the best for the last. The House on Sathorn now offers ‘Paii Afternoon Tea’ worth 1,750 Baht for 2 pax. The place itself is transformed into a hot venue fuelled with artisanal Asian-inspired bites. Anyone who see this house will fall in love with it instantly. Sipping on tea while having savoury and sweet bites are the perfect afternoon anyone would live.
